When you travel west (right) far enough you will come across some corruption.
I dont know if that is supposed to be there.

but terraria's west is right. why? because the sun in terraria rises from the left and sets in the right. yea I know, its nonsense... xD

anyway sticking to the topic, corruption is not a matter because this is not whole hallow world. without corruption, we can't start boss battle (all bosses at same time). you got it? good. in 2 days if you don't ask again I'll lock this.

Actually no, the sun has nothing to do with it.
Just because that is Earth's logic doesn't mean it's Terraria's.
It's been stated by the Devs that West is to the left, I saw it awhile back so I can't grab the quote for you, but trust me. Even when a Goblin Army invades from the West they come from the left.
